If you attended the Fit Show, in Telford, you probably had the opportunity to see how Rapierstar fixings and Proshield XT can add value to the products and services you offer.
The big hit at the show was the ever popular Starfix FFT masonry fixing. Everyone who saw the small but impressive brick demonstrator, were even more impressed when shown the fact that it taps it’s own thread in the masonry substrate. This shows how the fixing can be driven and extracted many times with no loss of pull-out values.
One of the new benefits showcased to customers at the show, is fast product development via the use of 3D modelling and 3D printing. New items or modifications can be designed and then rendered as animated demonstration files. If then required, prototype models in 3D via thermo-plastic or even metal printing methods can be produced for evaluation, saving months in development time.
Rapierstar’s Proshield XT masonry protection treatment, with the concept of preventing moisture penetration problems within conservatories and orangeries added to existing buildings, had maximum interest with installers. Everyone we spoke with agreed that the product could go along way with alleviating the penetrating moisture problems associated when adding new structures to existing buildings.
