RapierStar recently exhibited again at the Fastener Fair, Stuttgart, the biggest European event dedicated to the fastener and fixings industry, with over 450 exhibitors in 3 halls. It was a great opportunity to meet up with existing customers and new prospects. This year we benefited from fluent German and Spanish speakers within our RapierStar exhibition team.

The event is held in Europe and the UK on alternate years and Managing Director, David Furness, commented "we had such a terrific show this year that we have already booked a larger stand for the Coventry exhibition in 2008".

Award winning innovation

Following on from the Star Turn's 'New Product of the Show Award' at Dublin's Building Exhibition, RapierStar were once more recognised for their innovative product ranges.

The Fastener Fair, Stuttgart 2007, Europe's largest fastener exhibition, had seventeen entries for their 'New Product Showcase', selected from over 450 exhibitors. Visitors to the exhibition were then invited to vote for their favourite innovation within the new product showcase.

Show organiser, Jerry Ramsdale, presented RapierStar Managing Director, David Furness, with an award for their StarPVCU bi-metal, stainless steel window screw.

David acknowledged, "It is excellent to receive this recognition from other professionals within our industry".
